Jay Schiller, LMT
My name is Jay and I was raised along with my two sisters pretty much on an island of some sort at any given time. I started my life in the surfing community of Maloolaba, Australia and then it was off to the Caribbean, St. Thomas to be exact. We spent the greater of 10 years living on a 47 foot schooner. I would say it was living in these close quarters that gave me and my family the tight-nit feel that we still carry on to this day. During this time I also spent a year in France. Me and my sisters carry dual nationality and can speak French as well.
From 10 years on and up I spent my life living on the beautiful island of Hawaii where I based my headquarters as I jetted all over the globe, spending time in Hong Kong, Thailand, Dominican Republic amongst other destinations. Now, we have settled down in Waikoloa, Hawaii where I am married to the lovely Aie and we have a beautiful daughter named Zuree as well as another baby on the way. I say settle down, though⌠at the time of this writing we are enjoying a white Christmas in France, I hope you will make Health in Motion a regular spot for your comfort and well-being and thank you for reading my profile.

Growing up in a third world country is not so great if you have big hopes for your future. When I realized that I had to go somewhere outside of my country in order for me to pursue my future dream, I moved from Myanmar to Thailand to learn English and started college in Bangkok. Through Godâs plans, I met my husband, Jay at the college and he brought me here to Hawaii.
Since it has always been my dream to help people, I found that massage is one of the best ways to help people feel better. Being able to fulfill their needs, release their stress and pain is such a joy for me. It is rewarding when I hear my clients say â Oh, I am floating and all my stress and pain are goneâ and they give you a big hug.
I completed my studies with Gino Ortiz at the Hawaii School of Muscular Massage and completed apprenticeship at Health In Motion Massage Studio with Ambre Lindsey. My focus is on Muscular massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, and trigger point release techniques. I also practice Facial massage, do body polishes and scrubs, and Aromatherapy.
The typical treatment I give my guests, is one that blends my own custom massage technique with different techniques to fulfill the clients specific needs.
My goal is to keep learning other techniques, as well, such as Reflexology, Shiatsu and Thai Massage.

Ambre Lindsey, Principal LMT
Spending the first years of her life on a sailboat in the US Virgin Islands, Ambre relocated to the Hawaiian islands in 1995 with her family. She knew that she had a passion for massage at a young age. She spent many mornings walking on her fatherâs back as a child.
Following in the footsteps of both her parents, who are also massage therapists, she began her training right out of high school, at the age of 19. Ambre studied with Gino Ortiz at the Hawaii School of Muscular Massage and completed an apprenticeship with Kathleen Fabian from Island Massage Co. where she focused on Muscular massage, Trigger Point release techniques and Sports massage.
Licensed in the state of Hawaii since 2003, she has spent the last 8 years perfecting her craft. Ambre spent over 3 years at the Kohala Spa at the Hilton Waikoloa before moving to the mainland where she practiced at Synergy Day Spa in Pacific Grove, California. Incorporating Hawaiian lomilomi techniques in her practice as well as Sport Stretching and Myofascial Release, her style is unique. Her drive and love for massage is evident in her work. Ambre is also a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals).
When Ambre is not practicing what she loves, she can be found on the beach where she enjoys swimming, filming and photographing her husband in the waves. She also loves to travel and has been all over the world. Designing seed bead earrings is one of her favorite things to do in her spare time!

Our On-call Specialists
Alain Schiller, LMT
Alain a native of France, became an American in 1990 after meeting his wife while they were both sailing the Antilles. A charter yacht captain for many years from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean Seas he owes his strong, yet gentle hands for massage therapy, to raising sails and pulling up anchors.
A firm believer in preventive medicine, Alain always encouraged his charter-guests to travelback to health by living a more balanced way of life through travel, diet and preventive therapies.
In Hawaii since July of 1995, Alain studied acupuncture and Chinese herbology at the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii for 6 months, prior to becoming a licensed massage therapist in the State of Hawaii. At the Kona Hawaii’s School of Muscular Massage, he devellopped an interest for Therapeutique and Muscular Massage thanks to his teacher, Geno Ortiz, also the owner of the school and the founder of Muscular Massage Therapy. Mr. Ortiz was a member of the first Massage Team in the Olympic history in 1984 he was recently selected for the 2002 Winter Olympic in Salt Lake City.
Alain’s love of the water brought him naturally to travelback to health with Manual Drainage Therapy and Lymph Drainage Therapy. Alain has been a student of Bruno Chikly with the Upledger Institute . With his wife Sandy, they both hope to become your Hawaiian LDT specialists.
If you need a Therapeutic Massage while on the Big Island of HAWAII, Alainâs massage is deeper than Swedish but lighter than Deep Tissue. A mix of intricate muscular manipulation and pressure points makes his massage perfectly suited to release stress and toxins. This efficient muscle therapy is ideal for everyone and especially for anybody before and after sport or any type of exercise. Whether you choose a Lymph Drainage Therapy or a Therapeutic Massage, you may book him through this website (for the best rates) and if you wish you to experience a Watsu, a unique aquatic experience in a salt warm water pool, a combination of shiatsu points, thai moves in a relaxing water dance, you may call Healh in Motion to book your appointment at the new Mauna Lani Spa Resort.
Sandy Schiller, LMT
Born and raised in the high desert country of Arizona and New Mexico, a love and respect for nature was instilled at an early age. Immigrating to Australia at thirteen brought a different perspective, and the ocean became a natural extension of the vast desert places. A passion for sailing and traveling has been inspiring and educational. Blessed with an interesting and intelligent husband and three loving children has brought much happiness. Living in Hawaii since 1995 has given a sense of place and massage has provided purpose. Learning from our treasured Auntie Margaret was a gift that beautifully molded the way to care for others with a loving touch. It is with joy and pleasure that Sandy joins the Health in Motion family.
